Emmanuel & Marion’s wedding in Reunion Island.

Emmanuel didn’t want a traditional wedding at the church. His connection to the sea and nature was what he wanted to reinforce and feel on their wedding day. They said “I do” standing on the black volcanic sand with the sound of the waves crashing in the background and the mountain as a backdrop.

Emmanuel and I have been friends since always. Or at least for as long as we can remember. 5, 6 years old, that’s when we started school together.

Documenting my best mate’s wedding is definitely one of the best memory of my life.

As I was the best man, my wife assisted me in documenting the civil union at the council house.
